How we process the data that companies and their contact people send us in training and translation enquiries.

Last updated: September 2026

01

Data controller

The controller of your personal data is QUANTUM QUEST sp. z o.o., ul. Półwiejska 18/26, 61-888 Poznań, Poland, VAT ID 7831903056 — owner of the ENGLISHOWO brand (the “Controller”).

For any matter concerning personal data you can write to [email protected] or call +48 570 725 483.

02

What data we collect

We only collect the data you provide yourself in the contact form or in correspondence with us. This is business data needed to prepare a training proposal for an organisation:

  • the contact person's first and last name
  • work email address and phone number
  • company name and the position or department
  • training area, number of participants and the content of the message

We do not collect special category data (including data on health, opinions or organisational membership) and we do not ask for it in the form.

03

Purpose and legal basis of processing

  • Responding to an enquiry and preparing a proposal — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in conducting B2B correspondence).
  • Delivering and invoicing training or translation services — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR and Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (tax and accounting obligations).
  • Establishing or defending legal claims — Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
  • Sending information about our programmes, if you consent to it — Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; you can withdraw consent at any time.

Providing data is voluntary, but without an email address or phone number we will not be able to reply to your enquiry.

04

How long we keep data

  • Enquiries that did not lead to cooperation — up to 24 months from the last contact.
  • Data related to performing a contract — for the duration of the cooperation and then for the period required by tax law (at least 5 years from the end of the accounting year).
  • Data processed on the basis of consent — until that consent is withdrawn.
05

Who we share data with

Data may only be shared with entities that support us in running our business, under data processing agreements:

  • providers of the hosting and infrastructure this site and our mail run on
  • providers of training platforms and online session tools (only for delivering training)
  • our accounting office and legal advisers
  • trainers and translators working with us on a given project

We do not sell data and we do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes. Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, this takes place on the basis of standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

06

Your rights

  • access to your data and a copy of it
  • rectification and completion of your data
  • erasure of your data (the “right to be forgotten”)
  • restriction of processing
  • portability of your data to another controller
  • objection to processing based on legitimate interest
  • withdrawal of consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before the withdrawal

To exercise these rights, write to [email protected]. We reply within 30 days at the latest. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland).

07

Cookies and analytics

The site uses cookies and basic traffic analytics to make sure it works correctly and to count visits. Analytics data is aggregated and is not used to identify individuals.

You can change cookie settings in your browser at any time — but disabling essential cookies may limit how the contact form works.

08

Data security

We apply technical and organisational measures proportionate to the risk: encrypted transmission (HTTPS), access control to our systems, the principle of data minimisation and confidentiality agreements with trainers and translators.

In the event of a data breach that may result in a high risk to your rights, we will inform you without undue delay.

09

Changes to this policy

We update this policy whenever the scope of our services or the applicable law changes. The current version is always available at this address, together with the date of the last update.

Have a question about how we process data, or need a data processing agreement before training starts? Write to us — we will prepare the documents for your legal department.
